What do you do at FUMC? I work in conjunction with the Treasurer of the church processing monetary donations from the congregation. I post donations to member statements, process the church’s payroll, manage accounts payable…  basically, collect the money and pay the bills.
 
What do you do when you’re not at FUMC?  I provide a shuttle service for my kids’ various activities.
 

What’s your favorite book or movie?  Movie:  Chevy Chase’s Christmas Vacation

 

KIMBERLY SMITH

What do you do at FUMC? I oversee Sunday School from Nursery through Adult classes, small groups, Bible studies, Children’s Ministries, and Vacation Bible School.
 
What do you do when you’re not at FUMC? I’m raising and homeschool my four kids and sewing or crafting.

New Beginnings:Monthly Luncheon for older adults, Bus trips, Ball Games, working with Local Trustees Office. Crafty Grannies, Actively Fit, Breakfast Club, Christain Caregivers, Parrish Nurses and Mission Trips.

Director of Music Ministries Worship Coordinator

 

I am in charge of planning, rehearsing and performing with the choir in the traditional services. We do a mixture of traditional and contemporary anthems, as well as extra services during the Advent and Lenten seasons. We have a lot of fun singing together. I enjoy working with this group and occasionally we combine with the Praise team for the contemporary service. I also have performed on the flute as well as playing with the Praise Team periodically.
