Ice Skating at Bulldog Park
AMPED and the rest of our church family rented out Bulldog Park in Crown Point and skated and skated and skated. Our feet hurt, but it was a ton of fun sharing the ice with our Church family!
New Youth Room!
After many weeks of destruction and renovation, our youth room has been restored and this space Is our own! Worship, fellowship, food, and Jesus all in one location.
Prayer Circle
In AMPED Student Ministry, kids hold hands in a circle, talking to God together. They ask for help, thankfulness, and strength. It’s like a big hug with everyone trusting that God is listening.
WHAT IS AMPED Student Ministry?
A Ministry Preparing Extreme Disciples or AMPED Student Ministry is a place where students and leaders come together to learn how to live and love as Jesus did. We are the youth ministry of First UMC of Crown Point. We exist to live alongside our Jr & Sr High students(6-12th Grade) and their families as we journey with them to find Christ and grow in a relationship with our God.
AMPED gathers twice a week with one another. Sundays from 3-5pm we gather for our fun & games night either at church or the local park. Thursday evenings from 6-8pm we come together in our youth room(downstairs) for a night of worship, games, fellowship, and study of God’s word. This is the place where we dive into God’s word and learn about who He is and who we are in Him.
All youth are invited and we would love to have you join us. Bring a friend and become a part of our family here at AMPED!
