Exercise for Seniors – emphasis on agility, grace, strength, and balance. I fell, and I can’t get up! These words are not amusing to us older adults. It can be terrifying to find ourselves down and not able to get up, and embarrassing to find ourselves on the ground, wondering what happened. In our Actively Fit class we learn techniques to get up by ourselves, no matter where we might be. Better yet, we learn how to move confidently and gracefully. We learn to strengthen our muscles that can support our bodies so that we are less likely to fall. We meet Monday and Wednesday 10:30am, and Friday 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall at 10:30 am. There is no charge and you can come dressed as you usually do for your day. We have a lot of fun — just come and check it out! We are in all shapes, sizes, and ages, from 50—92 years old. Both women and men are welcome.
This group is open to all adults. Interested persons may join at any time.
