At First UMC Crown Point, music is a vital part of our worship experience. The Praise Team leads the congregation in songs that inspire, uplift, and prepare our hearts to receive God’s Word. Whether through contemporary worship or cherished hymns, our goal is to create a space where everyone feels connected and encouraged.

Who We Are

The Praise Team is made up of vocalists and instrumentalists who serve during Sunday services and special events. We come from different walks of life, but we share a common purpose: to glorify God through music and foster a welcoming atmosphere for worship.

What We Do

  • Lead worship during Sunday morning services
  • Support seasonal events such as Easter, Christmas, and the Holidaze Bazaar
  • Collaborate with the tech team to enhance the worship experience
  • Encourage congregational participation and spiritual reflection
