Heavenly father, it’s Thanksgiving, and I want to be grateful. As I look at my past, even though it hasn’t always been easy, I thank you for the way you’ve blessed me, and gotten me through. As I look around me today, even though my life may not be perfect, I thank you for the good things I see around me.
But when I think about tomorrow, sometimes it can feel a little uncertain and scary. But no matter what happens tomorrow, I know that you’ve promised to be there, with your love and peace.
So I’m choosing to do something that feels a little crazy: right here, right now, in the midst of my uncertainty about tomorrow, I’m going to wrap my spirit in THANKSGIVING for what you’ve yet to do in my life.
No matter where this road leads, THANK YOU for the blessings I’ve yet to receive, for the strength I’ve yet to feel, for the peace I’ve yet to experience, for your presence in my TOMORROW.
For your promise that no matter what happens next in my life, you’ve got it! No matter what happens tomorrow, give me the hope and faith to know that you’ve got ME!
